About Internal Complaints Committee

The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) of Kaamadhenu Arts and Science College was established in 2017 with a specific focus on preventing and addressing sexual harassment within the campus. The ICC functions as a grievance redressal mechanism, conducting impartial investigations, recommending corrective actions, and fostering awareness. By promoting gender sensitivity and legal compliance, the ICC plays a crucial role in upholding dignity, equality, and security for women in both professional and academic settings.

Objectives

✔ To prevent sexual harassment.

✔ To receive, investigate, and resolve complaints of sexual harassment in a fair, confidential, and timely manner.

✔ To create a safe and secure environment.

✔ To conduct training sessions and awareness programs on campus related to anti-harassment policies.

✔ To foster a culture of respect, dignity, and gender equality in the organization.

Roles and Responsibility

✔ Accept and register complaints of sexual harassment confidentially.

✔ Provide a safe and supportive platform for victims to share their grievances.

✔ Ensure that the complainant does not face retaliation or victimization.

✔ Follow a transparent, unbiased, and timely inquiry process.

✔ Suggest disciplinary actions, including warnings, suspension, or termination, based on the findings.

✔ Recommend workplace changes to prevent future incidents (e.g., policy improvements, stricter monitoring).

✔ Provide support services such as counseling or legal aid if needed.

✔ Students can register their complaints through the online ERP portal, directly in the ICC complaint register (kept at the front office), or in the ICC complaint box.
